As I walked into the busy department store, I couldn't help but notice the loud announcement over the intercom, "ATTENTION SHOPPERS: Please hide at the back of the store immediately." Confused and frightened, I joined the frantic crowd rushing towards the rear of the building, wondering what could possibly be happening. Little did I know, this was just the beginning of a terrifying ordeal that would change my life forever.
