Movies like Inception introduce the concept of slowing down time in lucid dreams to make them last for years. This is done through something called dream layering, which is when you fall asleep inside of a lucid dream and enter another dream on a lower level. But does using this trick slow down time like in the movies?

In this video I discuss how time works in lucid dreams, and why some dreams can feel like several hours or even days have gone by. I think it's really important to know how time works so that you can experiment with it in your next lucid dream and do some really cool things!
