Learn how we made it below:

Building Steps
1. We laser cut a wooden template then used it to plasma cut the designs out of steel.
2. Various lengths of pipes were cut to length with a cut off saw to form the body of the hammer.
3. The body was sequentially welded together using our flux core welder.
4. We used our Tormach PCNC 440 to cut a mounting hole in the body of the hammer, bore out the handle mount, add a wire routing slot, and to cut steel washers for mounting the flairs. Check out Tormach here http://www.tormach.com/
5. We used an extendable socket breaker bar similar to this http://amzn.to/2eC45au as the handle.
6. We 3d printed the handle and pommel using our TAZ 5 3d printer available on Amazon here http://amzn.to/29GgYhA. These 2 parts were printed using ABS-X provided by http://www.inksmith.co using 100% infill.
7. A push button was mounted inside the 3D printed handle with wires routed through the milled slot in the breaker bar and into the body of the handle. A 12V lipo battery was used in conjunction with the push button to ignite the solid fuel rocket.
8. The breaker bar handle was press fit into the body of the hammer and then fastened with 4 M5 socket head cap screws.
9. The hammer was painted black with accents of blue and sections of bare grinded steel.
10. Flares are placed in the outer 3 pipes for aesthetics while the solid fuel rocket is placed in the center pipe for propulsion
11. We are using G-Class model rocket engines which are the largest rockets we can legally buy.
