My 60 Pound Weight Loss Journey #shorts
As a kid I always struggled with my weight. Playing Football as a kid, I was "double patched" meaning I was too big to play any other position other then a linemen. In first grade when I started playing Football, I had a physical and weighed in at 98 pounds. In 8th grade when I got another physical to play football, I weighed 185 pounds. I remember my dad saying to me, "you weigh more than I do!". He didn't mean it in a bad way, he was just shocked. I was too. Fast forward a few years and quarantine hit. I was stuck inside all day, eating. Getting no exercise. I was curious one morning and weighed myself. I weighed in at 220 pounds. I was shocked. I knew that day I had to turn my life around. After my first year of eating healthy and doing cardio, I had lost about 40 pounds. Nowadays I weigh in around 160-165. I am not done yet.
