Your Mirror self is all about your opposites: This includes gender and the left and right hemispheric functions of the brain. Your Mirror self is similar to Carl Jung's concept of the anima and the animus but with some important differences.
Gender is not binary, it exists on a spectrum. Furthermore, what it means to be masculine or feminine is arbitrary and is dependent on the culture and time you were born in. So saying that every man has an inner feminine and every woman has an inner masculine, as if those are the only options, is extremely limiting
Why is your Mirror Self the most important archetype to integrate? This is because it’s the key to uniting the conscious and the unconscious, to integrating the left and right hemispheric functions of the brain. These qualities are not in opposition to each other, they are complimentary and must work together.
