Pink Panther is an assistant to time travel scientist Big Nose, who's returned from ancient Egypt with a valuable cat statue. But when his dog breaks it and Pinky gets the blame, he decides to use the time machine to get the same statue. However, his use of the machine results in him going through various time periods, including prehistoric, ancient Rome, and eventually Egypt, where he's able to get the statue. After a brief stint in the future, he returns home to the present where he presents Big Nose with the statue. However, it shatters again, and Pinky finds he went through all that trouble for nothing since the scientist had twenty-seven other copies of the same statue in his cabinet.

The Pink Panther is a British-American media franchise primarily focusing on a series of comedy-mystery films featuring an inept French police detective, Inspector Jacques Clouseau. The franchise began with the release of the classic Pink Panther film in 1963. The role of Clouseau was originated by, and is most closely associated with, Peter Sellers. Most of the films were written and directed by Blake Edwards, with theme music composed by Henry Mancini. Elements and characters inspired by the films were adapted into other media, including books, comic books and animated series.

The first film in the series derives its name from the eponymous pink diamond that has an enormous size and value. The diamond is called the "Pink Panther" because the flaw at its centre, when viewed closely, is said to resemble a leaping pink panther. The phrase reappears in the title of the fourth film The Return of the Pink Panther, in which the theft of the diamond is again the centre of the plot. The phrase was used for all the subsequent films in the series, even when the jewel did not figure in the plot. The jewel ultimately appeared in six of the 11 films.

The first film in the series had an animated opening sequence, created by DePatie–Freleng Enterprises, featuring "The Pink Panther Theme" by Mancini, as well as the Pink Panther character. This character, designed by Hawley Pratt and Friz Freleng, was subsequently the subject of his own series of theatrical cartoons, beginning with The Pink Phink in 1964.[1] The cartoon series gained its highest profile on television, aired on Saturday mornings as The Pink Panther Show.

A friend and I marathon-watched all the live-action Scooby-Doo films and realized how much “risque” content there are in the first two. I don’t know if most of what I point out counts, or if it just makes me seem like a creep. Maybe the marathon just awakened my childhood crush on Sarah Michelle Gellar. But there are still some undoubtedly risque moments too.

On a side note, this is one of my favorite films of all time. I remembered it being kinda dumb, but after watching it after growing up it’s actually got some pretty hilarious humor and some smart dialogue. Not to mention that the scenes where Scooby interacts with the environment are handled beautifully…for 2002.

This films script was originally going for a PG-13 rating with a darker tone, and a lot more sexual innuendos and weed jokes. Shaggy was going to be a full on stoner. Daphne and Velma were supposed to a have a relationship of some kind, but, when the first cut was rated R, it was heavily re-edited into the film it is now, where most of these aspects are completely gone. Even though this film still has cleavage galore, that cut apparently had so much that they had to use computer generated content in the final cut to cover it up.

And also, yes, I do realize that the "leather boots" are actually latex boots. I fucked up, what do you want me to say?

And for the people who say "some of these are reaches," that does not undermine the ones that aren't, and also, I tried to have everything that could even, by the smallest of margins, be considered a risque, dirty, or slightly targeted-towards-people-older-than-12-years joke.
