The Enuma Elish, The Babylonian Myth of Creation - Tales from Mesopotamian Mythology

The Enuma Elish was found in the Library of Ashurbanipal in 1849. It gives insight to the old creation myth of ancient Mesopotamia. It describes in detail the events leading up to the creation of the universe and the rise of supreme god Marduk.
