In Botswana, the real life of the inhabitants is far from the usual postcard image. CHAÏDI, MONTY, MAREKO, SEKERE live in the heart of a country that is nothing but a great desert: Botswana. All are struggling to keep their jobs and support their families, but in the fine sand present everywhere, it is impossible to move forward without four-wheel drive. With tens of thousands of wild animals like lions or elephants roaming free, breaking down is not reassuring. Usually, once a year, only the OKAVANGO delta which flows into this desolation brings them some freshness and vital resources. But this year the water did not come.
Drought seriously threatens the lives of inhabitants and animals. The struggle for survival intensifies and global warming accentuates all the problems. Between elephants and farmers like Monty it's a merciless war for water. Making these domestic animals drink becomes a way of the cross and the herds pass away. In an atmosphere of apocalypse, Lake NGAMI has changed its face. Having become a vast puddle of mud, MAREKO fights there to catch the last catfish in the middle of the hippos stuck in a suffocating mire.
To deliver food to his grandmother, CHAIDI, penniless, walks for hours on a track crushed by heat. At the end of the road, hungry children are waiting for his packet of sugar. In Botswana, the whole organization of society linked to livestock farming and consumption is threatened by the terrible effects of global warming. Yet in the Kalahari Desert SEKERE and his wife MOGATLANYANA, the oldest representatives of southern Africa known as the Bushmen, still remember how to live in harmony with nature using water from roots and dew . Freedom-loving, they try to return in an old pick-up to the land of their ancestors from which they were expelled.

On Deep canyons cut into the Andes cordillera from the north to the south of Peru. In order to supply the gold mines, tend their vines or quite simply gain access to their villages, people have no choice but to take the most improbable of roads, hewn out of the rock. Major companies always find their place at the end of the road, attracted by the fabulous natural resources of the country, either under the ground with its wealth of precious metals or in its waters teeming with fish. However, it’s rare for all this wealth to benefit the lowly workers, the men and women who have to bend double to work deep in the shafts, scratching at the earth amidst clouds of ammonia, or risk their lives at the end of a 200’ rope, for a handful of euros. From the Maranon River valley to the Cotahuasi canyon, by way of the Paracas desert, this Impossible Road makes its way through a Peru of magnificent landscapes, but where life comes at a high price…

00:00 Bangladesh, the most populous country on the planet, there is a saying that the cheapest thing is life. From the first images of the film, the term overpopulation takes on a concrete and sadly inhuman dimension. for example, who could imagine that a man willingly dives almost naked into the sewers of a capital of 15 million people in the midst of human excrement to fetch gold? This is the only job Gazi can do. Wounds and chemicals eat away at him. He knows he is condemned in the short term. But this is the only way he has found to feed his family and especially to allow his children to escape their destiny of misery. To cope with the absurdity of a hellish daily life, many rely on religion. Each year in Bangladesh takes place one of the world's largest Muslim pilgrimages. For the event nearly 5 million pilgrims flocked from all over the country. Buses, boats and trains are stormed. Passengers are everywhere on the roofs, on the axles, hanging from the windows. An almost unmanageable crowd overflow in a country with obsolete infrastructure. At the sight of these barely believable images, one wonders if it is faith or self-sacrifice that allows Bangladeshis to thwart the traps of overpopulation and thus keep smiling.

Between January 7 and 9, 2015, France experienced horror. Behind the shock, questions. Does France have the financial means to fight, whether to protect us with Vigipirate, or to monitor and track on our territory? And it has considerable financial means. How is this organization funded? How did it manage to multiply its sources of profit? How does his marketing allow him to constantly recruit new fighters in the West?

Organized crime in The Netherlands is flourishing in tandem with the cocaine trade. A key witness is shot dead, along with his lawyer. A journalist is murdered in downtown Amsterdam. The drugs mafia earns billions and deploys increasingly brutal tactics.
For years the Dutch authorities thought they had this so-called Mocro mafia under control. But at the latest with the murder of journalist Peter R. de Vries, it has become clear that organized crime is shaking The Netherlands to its very core. "It’s a battle for power and billions. It’s about killing, to avoid being killed,” says the well-known Dutch lawyer Vito Shukrula.
Recent years have seen a dramatic rise in the amount of cocaine being smuggled through the ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp and Hamburg. With profits running into the billions, mafia gangs mainly operating from The Netherlands find it easy to bribe individuals at key points in the chain. For example, a crane driver at a port can earn 100,000 Euros for moving just one container to a particular position. For years now, investigators have used all the means at their disposal to expose and cut the supply lines. Several raids found weapons and huge hauls of drugs; many suspects were taken into custody.
The biggest trial in the history of The Netherlands has been going on since March 2021. In the dock at the Marengo trial: several leading members of the Mocro Mafia accused of murder. The cases highlight the extreme brutality of a criminal network that’s pushing the state to its limits. The reportage accompanies investigators going about their work at the port of Rotterdam, talks to defendants’ lawyers, meets former drugs couriers as well as the journalist Peter R. de Vries, who was later murdered. The story is one of corruption and violence.

AUDIO
I want to start by talking about the audio. The first thing that you should purchase for audio is a good shotgun Microphone, this is almost as important as camera because capturing good sound is half the battle.
The reason why you want a shotgun mic is because its extremely directional and when your filming a Documentary a lot of the time your in an environment where you cant control that. So by using a directional mic like a shotgun mic your able to capture more of the sound that the mic is pointed at and filter out the noise around it.
The shotgun mic I went with was the Rode NTG 3
The next thing your going to want to do is get yourself at least one good lauv setup. If your in a situation where your subject is far away or there's a lot going on and your not sure if your going to be close to them, best thing you can do is throw a lauv mic on them and hook it up to an external recorder so you can capture that audio
And that brings me to the next piece of gear you need and thats an external audio recorder. I use the Zoom H6 recorder and theres a few reasons why this is an essential piece of gear.
#1 to record interviews you definitely want to use an external recorder with high quality preamps, and depending on your mic you'll need something called phantom power to power your microphone which a lot of these external recorders have. And a lot of lower end cameras don’t have.
The other benefit is that they allow you to monitor the audio levels and they have a limiter so if your subject talks too loud it could limit their audio so it doesn't peak in the recording.
ND Filter
Moving away from audio, a tool that every filmmaker should have in their kit is a good ND filter. The reason why you need an ND filter is to be able to control your exposure when your shooting outside or even if your inside and its way to bright.
So instead of increasing your f-stop and having an uninteresting shot without depth, get yourself a good ND filter.
LIGHTS
One thing that you will always need is a good light. I can't stress this enough. I have bought cheap lights in the past and they turned out to be a complete waste of money, but when I finally bought my Aperture 120D I noticed a significant change in production quality right away and I still have this light to this day so If there is any light that I would recommend to someone just starting it would be the aperture 120D for sure!
LENS
Now i'm going to go into lenses, this is such a tough one because every situation is different and theres definitely not one lens that will be perfect for everything.
The way I think about lenses is simple, I ask myself what do I need to use everyday and you need to ask yourself the same. The big question is Prime or Zoom lens?
Zoom lenses are great because if your in an uncontrollable situation which im in a lot of the time then you have the ability to adjust the focal length and zoom into a subject. There's been so many times where i've been stuck in an area and there's something happening 30 feet away or really close and I've missed shots because I was using a prime.
It is the most closed country in the world, the last great communist, paranoid and aggressive dictatorship. In North Korea, nothing or almost nothing has changed since the creation of the country by Kim Il-Sung in 1953. 23 million North Koreans survive in absolute misery, without any freedom, prisoners of impassable borders. It is in this distressing universe that a group of French people have decided to spend their holidays. 8500 euros for three weeks is as expensive as a stay in the Seychelles. But for this price they will have to be satisfied with rationed food, hotels without comfort, outdated buses... Not to mention the permanent surveillance of threatening guides. Claude, Henri and Jacqueline will discover cities without cars, empty shops, casinos without money. They will have to submit to mandatory visits, propaganda and forced tributes to the eternal president of North Korea. An incredible journey, as North Korea prepares for the rise to power of Kim Jong-Un, grandson of the founder of the first communist dynasty in history.

Uncovered | The Dark Web Black Market | Best Documentary (2021)
A darknet market is a commercial website on the dark web that operates via darknets such as Tor or I2P. They function primarily as black markets, selling or brokering transactions involving drugs, cyber-arms, weapons, counterfeit currency, stolen credit card details, forged documents, unlicensed pharmaceuticals, steroids, and other illicit goods as well as the sale of legal products.
Commercial darknet markets mediate transactions for illegal goods and typically use Bitcoin as payment. These markets have attracted significant media coverage, starting with the popularity of Silk Road and Diabolus Market and its subsequent seizure by legal authorities. Silk Road was one of the first dark web marketplaces that emerged in 2011 and has allowed for the trading of weapons and identity fraud resources. These markets have no protection for its users and can be closed down at any time by authorities. Despite the closures of these marketplaces, others pop up in their place. As of 2020, there have been at least 38 active dark web market places.
Examination of price differences in Dark web markets versus prices in real life or over the World Wide Web have been attempted as well as studies in the quality of goods received over the Dark web. One such study was performed on Evolution, one of the most popular crypto-markets active from January 2013 to March 2015. Although it found the digital information, such as concealment methods and shipping country, "seems accurate", the study uncovered issues with the quality of illegal drugs sold in Evolution, stating that, "... the illicit drugs purity is found to be different from the information indicated on their respective listings." Less is known about consumer motivations for accessing these marketplaces and factors associated with their use.
Hacking groups and services
Many hackers sell their services either individually or as a part of groups.Such groups include xDedic, hackforum, Trojanforge, Mazafaka, dark0de and the TheRealDeal darknet market. Some have been known to track and extort apparent pedophiles. Cyber crimes and hacking services for financial institutions and banks have also been offered over the Dark web. Attempts to monitor this activity have been made through various government and private organizations, and an examination of the tools used can be found in the Procedia Computer Science journal. Use of Internet-scale DNS Distributed Reflection Denial of Service (DRDoS) attacks have also been made through leveraging the Dark Web. There are many scam .onion sites also present which end up giving tools for download that are infected with trojan horses or backdoors.
Financing and fraud
Scott Dueweke the president and founder of Zebryx Consulting states that Russian electronic currency such as WebMoney and Perfect Money are behind the majority of the illegal actions. In April 2015, Flashpoint received a 5 million dollar investment to help their clients gather intelligence from the Deep and Dark web. There are numerous carding forums, PayPal and Bitcoin trading websites as well as fraud and counterfeiting services. Many such sites are scams themselves. Phishing via cloned websites and other scam sites are numerous, with darknet markets often advertised with fraudulent URLs.
Illegal pornography
The type of content that has the most popularity on the dark web is illegal pornography, more specifically, child pornography. About 80% of web traffic is related to accessing child pornography despite it being difficult to find, even on the dark web. A website called Lolita City, that has since been taken down, contained over 100 GB of child pornographic media and had about 15,000 members
There is regular law enforcement action against sites distributing child pornography – often via compromising the site and tracking users' IP addresses. In 2015, the FBI investigated and took down a website called Playpen. At the time, Playpen was the largest child pornography website on the dark web with over 200,000 members. Sites use complex systems of guides, forums and community regulation. Other content includes sexualised torture and killing of animals and revenge porn.
Social media
Within the dark web, there exists emerging social media platforms similar to those on the World Wide Web, this is known as the Dark Web Social Network (DWSN). The DWSN works a like a regular social networking site where members can have customizable pages, have friends, like posts, and blog in forums. Facebook and other traditional social media platforms have begun to make dark-web versions of their websites to address problems associated with the traditional platforms and to continue their service in all areas of the World Wide Web. Unlike Facebook, the privacy policy of the DWSN requires that members are to reveal absolutely no personal information and remain anonymous.

00:00 In South Kivu in Congo, the city of Shabunda is one of the most isolated in the country. Its access is so difficult that life is more expensive there than in any European city. Thus, the poorest families come to look for food there by bicycle or motorbike. These convicts of the road sometimes transport up to 250 kilos of goods for several days, without worrying about the dangers. Without ever giving up, these travelers are almost all considered heroes because "he who does not travel does not know the value of men", according to the Congolese.

Watch the two-part documentary '13 Factors That Saved Apollo 13' here: https://www.youtube.com/playli....st?list=PLfMrqOdrCid
When Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took their first steps on the moon in July 1969, the world was suddenly split into two categories – those who believe the Apollo 11 landings, and those who don’t. We’ll investigate both sides of this debate – in fact 52% of the British public still believe the landings were an elaborate hoax designed to trump Russia in the space race!
In this show we’ll search for a definitive answer by recreating the moon landing for ourselves, testing the various competing theories against each other. Featuring interviews with leading experts, conspiracy theorists, archive material and highly detailed reconstructions of the landing, we put this debate to bed once and for all.
